Functionality and Features

Space-saving compact chassis

A maximum of 16 TSs can be transmitted/received over IP by this one device. The 1RU 19"rack mount compact chassis is best suited for installation to headend whose space is tightly restricted. Each ASI interface is configurable as TS over IP transmitter/receiver (can be mixed)  

High reliability

By adopting hot-swappable redundant power supplies, broadcasting blackout would be avoided during power or power unit failure. The UM6000/UM6300 notifies you of failure information by using SNMP*3 to support your operations.

Line redundancy supported: UM6300

UM6300 provides dual TS over IP interface that enables IP network line redundant architecture by itself.

TS (Transport Stream): TS is one of the standard transmission formats used for digital broadcasts in various countries, including digital terrestrial TV and DTH (digital sattelite TV) used in Japan.
