Exhibit "Flow-based Object Tracking Solution" at one of the world's largest IT related trade show "CeBIT 2017"

Tokyo, March 15, 2017 - Hitachi Information & Telecommunication Engineering, Ltd. (President & CEO: Minoru Kosuge, Headquarters: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture) will exhibit "Flow-based Object Tracking Solution," a solution to measure and visualize flow of people and objects, to the Japan Pavilion of "CeBIT 2017," one of the world's largest international information and communication technology trade show, to be held in Hannover, Germany, from 20th to 24th, 2017.

In recent years, "CeBIT" has been held annually as an international trade show specializing in exhibitions for business focusing on B2B *1 solutions utilizing the latest technologies such as IoT *2, Big Data, AI *3, and robot. This time, under the concept of "Create a New World Japan – Society 5.0, Another Perspective –," Japan will participate as the official Partner Country for the first time on a large scale and as a Japan Pavilion under the cooperation of the government and the business world. Promotion of business for Japanese companies such as building IoT related business models and overseas expansion is highly expected.

Hitachi Information & Telecommunication Engineering, Ltd. will exhibit "Flow-based Object Tracking Solution" at Hitachi booth of Japan Pavilion. "Flow-based Object Tracking Solution" is a measurement and analysis solution that enables real-time, accurate visualization and digitizing flow and stagnation of people and objects using laser sensors. It also enables analysis and utilization of measurement data as position information. It can be used for various purposes such as layout verification in office and commercial facility, grasp of flow of workers in factories and warehouses, visualization of work efficiency, security enhancement of off-limits areas and so on.

In this exhibition, with the cooperation of SICK AG, a German company and one of the leading companies in the sensor market, Hitachi Information & Telecommunication Engineering, Ltd. will demonstrate real time display of visitors' movement and stagnation and measurement of their behavior in the booth without obtaining personal information using 2D laser sensor manufactured by SICK AG. In addition, it measures congestion situation by multilayer 3D laser sensor, seamlessly cooperates with measurement information of 2D laser sensor, and realizes more accurate measurement.

Through this exhibition, Hitachi Information & Telecommunication Engineering, Ltd. aims to improve presence in overseas markets and establish business model.
